Parents and teachers trust InukMath to teach children correct mathematics. This page explains who creates our content, how it is checked and how we fix mistakes.
Who creates our content
Our content is created by the InukMath team. See the About page.
Our process
- Curriculum first. Every lesson is mapped to an expectation in the Ontario Mathematics Curriculum (2020) for its grade.
- Clear teaching. One idea at a time, with visuals and worked examples, in language a child of that age can read.
- Accuracy check. Every answer and explanation is solved again independently before publishing. Numbers in articles (for example EQAO results) are checked against the official source and linked.
- Educator review. An experienced educator reviews lessons and articles for correctness, age-appropriateness and alignment.
- Updates. Content is reviewed when the curriculum changes and whenever a parent, teacher or student reports a problem. Each page shows when it was last updated.
Sources
We rely on primary sources: the Ontario Ministry of Education, EQAO, Statistics Canada, other provincial ministries and peer-reviewed research on how children learn mathematics. We link to sources so readers can check them.
Use of AI tools
We sometimes use AI writing tools to help draft articles or explanations. A person always edits, fact-checks and approves the final text, and every math answer is checked by hand. AI is never used to invent statistics, quotes, reviews or credentials.
Corrections
Found a mistake? Tell us through the contact page (choose “Report a mistake”). We check every report, correct confirmed errors within 2 business days and update the page date.
Independence
InukMath is independent. We are not affiliated with the Ontario Ministry of Education, EQAO or any school board, we do not publish paid or sponsored content, and no advertiser influences what we teach. Testimonials and statistics on our site come only from real users and verifiable data.
