Numeric Example:
2, 5, 8, 11, 14, __
Rule: Add 3 each time → Next number is 17
Multiplication Growing:
3, 6, 12, 24, 48, __
Rule: Multiply by 2 each time → Next is 96
Geometric Growing:
▲ ▲▲ ▲▲▲ ▲▲▲▲ ...
Rule: Add 1 more triangle each time
2. Shrinking Patterns (Getting Smaller!)
Numeric Example:
50, 45, 40, 35, 30, __
Rule: Subtract 5 each time → Next is 25
Division Shrinking:
64, 32, 16, 8, 4, __
Rule: Divide by 2 each time → Next is 2
Geometric Shrinking:
⬛⬛⬛ ⬛⬛ ⬛ ...
Rule: Remove 1 square each time
