Example 1 – Discount
A $80 hoodie is 25% off. How much do you pay?

25% of 80 = 20
80 - 20 = $60

Example 2 – Sales Tax (HST)

10% of 40 = 4
3% of 40 = 1.20
Tax = $5.20
