It has 6 rectangular faces, 12 edges, and 8 corners.

Volume = Length Γ— Width Γ— Height (number of unit cubes)

🎯 Let’s Build and Calculate!

1. Build a prism that is 5 units long, 3 units wide, and 2 units high. What is the volume?

Volume = 5 Γ— 3 Γ— 2 = 30 cubic units

2. You build a box with 48 unit cubes. If length = 6 and width = 4, what is the height?

Height = 2 (because 6 Γ— 4 Γ— 2 = 48)

3. How many unit cubes to build a prism 4 cm Γ— 5 cm Γ— 6 cm?
