I'm Kashef and today we're learning how to find the Area of Parallelograms! A parallelogram is a slanted rectangle. The formula is the same as a rectangle: Area = Base × Height. The height must be the straight up-and-down distance (perpendicular). Ready to measure slanted shapes? Let’s go! 🚀

🧠 The Area Formula

Area = Base × Height

Base = 10 cm
Height = 6 cm

Area = 10 × 6 = 60 cm²

Important: Use the perpendicular height, not the slanted side!

1. Base = 15 cm, Height = 8 cm. What is the area?

120 cm²

2. A parallelogram has base 12 m and height 7 m. What is its area?

84 m²

3. A parallelogram has area 96 cm² and base 12 cm. What is its height?
