🪞 What is Reflection?
When we reflect a shape over a line (the mirror line), we create a perfect mirror image. The shape and its reflection are congruent (same size and shape).
✍️ How to Reflect a Shape
- Draw the mirror line
- Measure the distance from each point to the mirror line
- Mark the same distance on the other side of the line
- Connect the new points to make the reflected shape
