Hello my wonderful Grade 5 superstar! π
I'm Kashef and today we're learning to Plot Ordered Pairs! An ordered pair (x, y) tells us exactly where to place a point on the grid. x tells us how far to go right or left, y tells us how far up or down. Let's become grid artists! π
π§ What is an Ordered Pair?
(x, y) β First number = x (across), Second number = y (up)
Example: (3, 2) = go right 3, up 2
βοΈ Plot These Points
Point A: (2, 4)
Point B: (5, 1)
Point C: (0, 3)
π― Your Turn to Plot!
1. Plot (4, 2)
2. Plot (1, 5)
3. What ordered pair is at right 3, up 0?

Question: Which point is 4 right and 2 up?
You are a Grid Plotting Champion! ππ₯³
Kashef is super proud of you! You can now plot ordered pairs on the coordinate plane.
This skill helps us make graphs and solve real problems β you're becoming a math superstar!
