🧠 What is Word Form?

Word Form is writing the number using letters and words instead of just digits. We use commas when we speak and write to make it clear.

Examples:

45,678 → forty-five thousand, six hundred seventy-eight

100,000 → one hundred thousand

✍️ How to Write Word Form

Example 1: Write 56,789 in word form.

Answer: fifty-six thousand, seven hundred eighty-nine

56,000 → fifty-six thousand
700 → seven hundred
89 → eighty-nine
Put together: fifty-six thousand, seven hundred eighty-nine

Example 2: Write 123,456 in word form.

Answer: one hundred twenty-three thousand, four hundred fifty-six

123,000 → one hundred twenty-three thousand
400 → four hundred
56 → fifty-six

Example 3: Write 250,000 in word form.

Answer: two hundred fifty thousand
