A shape has **symmetry** if you can draw a line through it so that both sides look exactly the same. That line is called the **line of symmetry**.

1. Line Symmetry (Mirror Symmetry)
Can be folded along a line so both sides match.
Example: Square has 4 lines of symmetry
2. Rotational Symmetry
Looks the same when turned around a center point.
Example: A square looks the same after turning 90Β°
