🍦 What is a Cone?

A cone is a three-dimensional shape that has:

1 circular base (flat bottom)
1 curved surface that meets at a point (apex or vertex)
No flat faces on the side — only one curved surface

📋 Properties of a Cone

A Cone Has:

• 1 flat circular face (the base)
• 1 curved surface
• 1 vertex (the pointy top)
• 1 circular edge (where the base meets the curved surface)

Note: It does not have straight edges like a pyramid.

• Ice cream cones
• Party hats
• Traffic cones (orange cones on the road)
• Some roofs of towers
• Funnels
• The tip of a carrot or pine tree

Cone: Has a circular base and a curved surface
Pyramid: Has a polygon base (triangle, square, etc.) and flat triangular sides
