⏰ Two Types of Clocks
- Analog Clock → Has hour and minute hands (the round clock with numbers)
- Digital Clock → Shows numbers like 8:45
🕒 Reading an Analog Clock
The Hour Hand (shorter hand) tells the hour
The Minute Hand (longer hand) tells the minutes
🕘 = 8 o'clock
🕘🕓 = 8:15 (quarter past 8)
Special Times:
• :00 → o'clock
• :15 → quarter past
• :30 → half past
• :45 → quarter to
✨ Let’s Read Some Clocks
1. The minute hand is on 6 → 30 minutes
Hour hand is between 2 and 3 → 2:30 (half past 2)
2. The minute hand is on 3 → 15 minutes
Hour hand is on 9 → 9:15 (quarter past 9)
3. The minute hand is on 9 → 45 minutes
Hour hand is on 10 → 10:45 (quarter to 11)
