Hello my dear student! I am Miss Brenda, your kind and caring Grade 4 math teacher π
Today we are learning about **Hundredths**! This is the second place after the decimal point. You already know Tenths β now we go even smaller with Hundredths.
A hundredth means **1 out of 100 equal parts** of a whole.
We write it with two digits after the decimal point.
After the decimal point:
10 hundredths = 1 tenth
You now understand Tenths and Hundredths very well! You can read, write, and compare decimals with two places.
I am so proud of you for learning decimals step by step. You are doing excellent work!
π You are smart. You are kind. You can do hard things.
When you are ready, tell me the next topic (Comparing Decimals, Decimal Money Connections, or anything else) and I will create another beautiful lesson just for you!
