🔢 What are Multiples?
A **multiple** of a number is what you get when you multiply that number by any whole number (1, 2, 3, 4...).
Multiples are like skip counting!

3 × 1 = 3
3 × 2 = 6
3 × 3 = 9
3 × 4 = 12
3 × 5 = 15
3 × 6 = 18
Multiples of 3: 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27, 30...
Multiples of 5
5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50...
Multiples of 8
8, 16, 24, 32, 40, 48, 56, 64, 72, 80...
🔄 Factors vs Multiples
Factors → Numbers that multiply to make the original number (smaller or equal)
Multiples → Numbers you get by multiplying the original number (bigger or equal)
Factors of 12: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 12
Multiples of 12: 12, 24, 36, 48, 60...
⏭️ Easy Way to Find Multiples
Just use **skip counting** by that number!
Example: Multiples of 7 → Count by 7s: 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, 42...

2. A hockey game is 60 minutes long. How many 15-minute quarters are there?
60 ÷ 15 = 4 (60 is a multiple of 15)
