A **multiple** of a number is what you get when you multiply that number by any whole number (1, 2, 3, 4...).
Multiples are like skip counting!
π Letβs See Some Multiples

3 Γ 1 = 3
3 Γ 2 = 6
3 Γ 3 = 9
3 Γ 4 = 12
3 Γ 5 = 15
3 Γ 6 = 18
Multiples of 3: 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27, 30...
Multiples of 5
5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50...
Multiples of 8
8, 16, 24, 32, 40, 48, 56, 64, 72, 80...
π Factors vs Multiples
Factors β Numbers that multiply to make the original number (smaller or equal)
Multiples β Numbers you get by multiplying the original number (bigger or equal)
Factors of 12: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 12
Multiples of 12: 12, 24, 36, 48, 60...

Fantastic Job, My Dear Student! π
You now understand Multiples very well! Multiples help us with patterns, skip counting, and many real-life situations like schedules and equal groups.
I am so proud of how much you have learned about numbers. Keep practising by saying multiples out loud while jumping or clapping β itβs fun!
π You are smart. You are kind. You can do hard things.
When you are ready, tell me the next topic (Prime Numbers, Composite Numbers, or anything else) and I will create another beautiful lesson just for you!
