🔢 What are Even and Odd Numbers?
Every whole number is either even or odd.
Even Numbers
Can be divided equally by 2 with no remainder.
They end with: 0, 2, 4, 6, or 8
Examples: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 24, 36, 100, 248
Odd Numbers
Cannot be divided equally by 2 — always 1 left over.
They end with: 1, 3, 5, 7, or 9
Examples: 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 23, 45, 67, 101
🔍 Easy Way to Tell
Just look at the **last digit** (Ones place):
- If it ends in 0, 2, 4, 6, 8 → Even
- If it ends in 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 → Odd

All even numbers can be shared equally between 2 people. Odd numbers always leave 1 left over when shared between 2 people.
