Today we are learning how to write numbers in words! This is called Word Form. It helps us say and understand big numbers clearly.

📖 What is Word Form?

Word Form means writing the number using letters and words instead of digits. It is how we read and say numbers out loud.

We already learned Standard Form and Expanded Form. Now we add Word Form to make our number skills complete!

📝 Steps to Write Word Form

  1. Look at the number in Standard Form.
  2. Read the digits before the comma → say the number and then “thousand”.
  3. Read the last three digits normally (hundreds, tens, ones).
  4. Combine them with a comma in the middle.
