Hello my dear student! I am Miss Brenda, your kind and caring Grade 4 math teacher 💕
Today we are learning different ways to show data: **Bar Graphs, Pictographs, Line Plots, and Tables**! These help us see information clearly and answer questions easily.
A bar graph uses bars of different heights to show amounts. The taller the bar, the more there is!
A pictograph uses pictures or symbols to show data. Each symbol stands for a number of things.
A line plot shows data on a number line using Xs or dots.
A table organizes data in rows and columns so it is easy to read.

You now know how to read and understand Bar Graphs, Pictographs, Line Plots, and Tables! These tools help us turn information into pictures we can understand.
I am so proud of you. Try making a small bar graph or pictograph about your family’s favourite foods or colours today!
💕 You are smart. You are kind. You can do hard things.
When you are ready, tell me the next topic (Probability, Mean/Median/Mode, or anything else) and I will create another beautiful lesson just for you!
