Super Fun Lesson for Grade 1 Friends!
Ontario Curriculum - Understanding Temperature
Temperature tells us how **hot** or **cold** something is.
We feel it on our skin and we can measure it with a thermometer.
Very Hot β Like a sunny summer day or hot soup βοΈπ
Warm β Like a cozy blanket or hot chocolate π§£β
Cool β Like a spring morning or cool water πΈπ§
Very Cold β Like winter snow or ice cream in the freezer βοΈπ¦
A thermometer is a special tool that shows temperature.
β’ Red part goes **up** when it gets hotter
β’ Red part goes **down** when it gets colder
Hot day β T-shirt and shorts

Cold day β Coat, hat, scarf and mittens
