Today we will learn:

• How to describe where things are
• How to follow and give simple directions
• To use our body to show directions
• To find objects using direction words

1. Our Direction Words 👋

Above → The bird is above the tree 🐦🌳

Below → The cat is below the table 🐱🪑

Near / Close → The chair is near the door

3. Let's Practice with Our Body! 🕺

Stand up tall!
• Raise your right hand
• Touch something above your head
• Point to something below your knees
• Turn left and then turn right

4. Real Life Examples 🌍

The clock is **above** the door.
The rug is **below** the table.
My friend is sitting **beside** me.
The playground is **near** our classroom.

5. Fun Activities to Practice 🎲

  • Play “Simon Says” with direction words: “Simon says touch something above you!”
  • Hide a toy and give directions: “It is beside the chair and below the table.”
  • Draw a simple map of your desk and label left, right, above, below.
  • Line up and practice turning left and right.
  • Play “Where is it?” — describe where objects are using direction words.
  • Use your body to make a “direction dance”.
