1. Tens and Ones – Our Special Helpers 🧱

23 = 2 tens + 3 ones

5. Fun Activities to Practice 🎲

  • Use base-ten blocks: make numbers like 34, 56, 78.
  • Count by 10s while jumping or clapping.
  • Draw tens and ones for numbers 21 to 100.
  • Play “What number is this?” with number cards.
  • Count objects in groups of 10 (books, pencils, toys).
