Forward: 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20

4. Real Life Examples 🌍

You see 13 birds on the tree.
How many birds? 13 birds! 🐦

There are 16 children in the playground.
How many children? 16 children! 🏃‍♂️

Your class has 20 crayons in the box.
How many crayons? 20 crayons! 🖍️

5. Fun Activities to Practice 🎲

  • Count objects around the house up to 20 (toys, books, socks…).
  • Make number cards 1-20 and put them in order.
  • Draw 11 to 20 stars, hearts or smiley faces.
  • Play “I Spy” — “I spy 14 something…”
  • Jump and count to 20 while jumping on one foot.
  • Use base-ten blocks: 1 ten + some ones.
